the Susan Stroman Directing Award
Since 2013, The Vineyard has presented a biennial residency-based award to a talented early or mid-career director. Named after Tony Award-winning director Susan Stroman, this award provide recipients the opportunity to initiate and develop new projects and to work intensively with actor and design collaborators, while creating opportunities for them to become part of the life of the company in an ongoing way.
