(Sound Design) As a designer and composer, Robert has created the sonic landscapes for piles of incredible plays. Credits include: Heather McDonald’s An Almost Holy Picture (Broadway/Roundabout), Tracey Scott Wilson’s The Story (Public, Long Wharf, Lortel Nomination), Neil LaBute’s Fat Pig, Some Girl(s) and The Distance From Here (MCC), Kia Corthron’s Light, Raise The Roof (NYTW), Emily Mann’s Meshugah (Naked Angels), the Mabou Mines Request Concert with Joanna P. Adler, and Yasmeen Godder’s dance Hall (Kitchen, International). Projects currently running are: Eric Bogosian’s subUrbia at 2nd Stage, Neil LaBute’s Wrecks at the Public, and Adam Bock’s The Thugs at Soho Rep. He was the first professional sound designer for the Eugene O’Neill Playwrights Conference, (2000-2004), is Producing Artistic Director for the Relentless Theatre Company, and dedicates his work to KMO.
