Vineyard Theatre debut. Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Irina Dvorovenko began her career with the National Opera Ballet of Kiev in 1990 and joined American Ballet Theatre in 1996, where she thrilled audiences in every major classical role as a principal dancer from 2000-2014. She then performed to critical acclaim in ON YOUR TOES (City Center Encores!) and joined the leading cast of the TV series “Flesh and Bone” (Starz). She has made guest appearances on “Forever” (ABC), “The Blacklist” (NBC) and “Pose” (FX), as well as multiple appearances in “Power” (Starz) and “The Americans” (FX). In March she returned to Encores! as fading ballerina Elizaveta Grushinskaya in GRAND HOTEL.
