The Vineyard is Back at Home in Union Square — and Back on Broadway!
We’re excited to return to in-person performances this fall with two shows on Broadway: Lucas Hnath’s Dana H. and Tina Satter’s Is This A Room! The two productions will run in rotation beginning September 24, 2021 at the Lyceum Theatre.
The Vineyard’s mainstage season will continue at our home in Union Square with the world-premieres of Charly Evon Simpson’s extraordinary new play sandblasted, directed by Summer L. Williams, in a co-production with our friends at WP Theater, and David Cale’s thrilling Sandra, directed by Leigh Silverman — reuniting the team behind Harry Clarke.
We invite you to become a Member with us today. Vineyard Members will have first access to the best seats at the best price, both in our space and on Broadway. Members also receive special access to our mini commission program projects — a mix of exciting in person and virtual works from Ngozi Anyanwu, Jared Mezzocchi, Madeline Sayet, Polly Pen, and Kirsten Childs — our next Original Cast Reading of Nicky Silver’s The Lyons directed by Mark Brokaw, and first access to Lessons in Survival, Part 2 (live, in person), directed by Tyler Thomas. Plus in-person readings, special events, and more.
As we prepare to reopen our doors on 15th Street, we want you to know that the safety of our audiences, staff and artists is our top priority. We’re currently installing brand-new MERV-14 air filters and improving ventilation in our theatre to ensure our space is safe and ready for everyone who enters. We will post all safety measures, including any testing, vaccination, or mask requirements that will be in place closer to our reopening date.
