VINEYARD THEATRE 2018 GALA

Honoring Michael Mayer

Join us for Vineyard Theatre’s 35th Anniversary Gala honoring Michael Mayer on Monday, May 14, hosted by the inimitable Brandon Victor Dixon (“Jesus Christ Superstar Live!”, HAMILTON, Vineyard’s THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS).

Michael has directed some of the most original and exciting shows of the past decade, including SIDE MAN, SPRING AWAKENING, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, AMERICAN IDIOT, the recent revival of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, and the upcoming HEAD OVER HEELS. He is an artist of great vision, intelligence, and versatility, who has been an important part of The Vineyard family for nearly twenty-five years, collaborating with us on half a dozen plays and musicals, most recently on the world-premiere musical BROOKLYNITE.

Joining the celebration are Mikaela Bennett, Billy Crudup, Matt Doyle, Edie Falco, John Gallagher, Jr., Ira Glass, Tony Kushner, Lena Hall, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Katharine McPhee, Jessie Mueller, and more.*
