G.W. Mercier

(Set Design) G.W. Mercier is privileged to work at the Vineyard where previous shows include: People Are Wrong!, Eli’s Comin’, Dream True (Drama Desk Nomination), True History and Real Adventures, You Don’t Miss the Water, The Waiting Room, Bed & Sofa (Drama Desk Nomination), Por’ Knockers, Lady Bracknell’s Confinement, The Pary, and Hannah,1939. For Juan Darien: A Carnival Mass at the Vivian Beaumont, he was honored to receive a Tony Nomination for Scenery; as well as two Drama Desk Nominations for Scenery and Costumes. Current NY work includes Five Course Love at the Minetta Lane. Regionally, A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Long Wharf in Connecticut, Measure for Measure at the Denver Center, The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chao for Portland Stage and San Jose Rep, Vigil and Splitting Infinity for Geva Theatre, A Christmas Carol at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, and Flock which he wrote and directed for Dell’Arte in Blue Lake, CA. While working in film, television, opera, dance, musical theatre, as well as plays, over 350 of his set, costume, and puppet designs have been realized. He thrives in collaboration with significant writers, composers, directors, partner designers, and actors creating original work or making established shows seem new. G.W. Mercier and his family live in Connecticut.

Daryl Waters

(Orchestration) orchestrated and co-composed George C. Wolfe’s musicals Bring in ‘Da Noise/Bring in ‘Da Funk and Harlem Song. He composed the music for Charlayne Woodard’s one-woman show, In Real Life and Regina Taylor’s productions, Drowning Crow and The Dreams of Sarah Breedlove. He is Eartha Kitt’s music director. Mr. Waters is a music graduate of Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Mark Dendy

(Choreography) Artistic Director of Mark Dendy Dance and Theater from 1983 to 2000, touring the world and performing in NYC at The Joyce Theater, Lincoln Center, Dance Theater Workshop and Performance Space 122. Recipient of the 2000 Alpert Award in the Arts, numerous National Endowment, NYSCA and foundation fellowships, and the 1997 New York Dance and Performance Award, “The Bessie” for sustained achievement with his company. Kirsten Childs

Kirsten Childs (Playwright/Composer) is the award-winning writer of the musicals The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin, Miracle Brothers, Fly (with Rajiv Joseph and Bill Sherman), Funked Up Fairy Tales, The Edge of Night (a Playwrights Horizons SoundStage musical podcast, directed by Awoye Timpo) and Bella: An American Tall Tale (directed by Robert O’Hara). Bella received its world premiere in the 2016-2017 season at Dallas Theater Center, with a co-production at Playwrights Horizons. Bubbly Black Girl was recently produced at Theatre Royal Stratford East in the UK and at City Centers Encores! Off-Broadway. For her work, Kirsten has received Obie, Kleban, Larson, Richard Rodgers, Audelco and Gilman/Gonzalez-Falla awards, as well as Lortel and Drama Desk nominations. Kirsten has written for Disney Theatricals, the American Songbook series at Lincoln Center, the New Electric Company, City Center Encores!, Works and Process @ Guggenheim Museum, and Premieres/Inner Voices. She is an adjunct professor in NYU’s Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program and a member of the Dramatists Guild Council.

William Youmans

(Maroto) Gregory Treco, originally from Nassau, Bahamas, is most excited to be back on stage. (You have no idea!) Gregory created the role of Zanna in Zanna, Don’t! and made his Broadway debut last season in Rosie O’Donnell’s Taboo in which he played the Producer and understudied Boy George. Most recently, Gregory played Che in Evita at the Gateway Playhouse; starring the wonderful Lisa Brescia. Darrell Grand Moultrie

A recipient of the Princess Grace Choreography Fellowship Award, Moultrie’s select credits include SUGAR IN OUR WOUNDS (MTC), INVISIBLE THREAD (Second Stage Theater), EVITA (Kansas City Rep), WITNESS UGANDA (American Repertory Theatre), EL PUBLICO (Teatro Real; Madrid, Spain). Darrell’s work has been performed by ballet and modern companies throughout the United States and around the world. Moultrie was selected by Grammy Award winning artist Beyoncé as a choreographer on her record-breaking Mrs. Carter Show world tour. A proud New Yorker, born and raised in Harlem, Moultrie is a graduate of LaGuardia High School and The Juilliard School.

Tyler Maynard

(Fernando) Tyler Maynard hails from New Carlisle, Ohio… a far cry from Brazil. Tyler recently played Mark in Altar Boyz where he received nominations for the Drama Desk Award, the Lucille Lortel Award and won a Theater World Award. Other New York credits include Mamma Mia, Bye Bye Birdie (Encores), and the National Tour of Disney’s On the Record. Tyler also can be seen in Palindromes, a new Todd Solondz film and Red Doors. He would like to thank his home-dog, Washington, for pushing him, and his Miracle Sisters, Ashley and Brooke.

Anika Larsen

(Juan) Anika Larsen comes to the Vineyard from the cast of All Shook Up. She created the role of Roberta in the Off-Broadway musical Zanna, Don’t!, for which she was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award. She has performed with the Broadway and touring companies of Rent. Anika continues to develop her one-woman show, Shafrika, The White Girl, about growing up with 9 brothers and sisters of different races and nationalities. She majored in theater at Yale University, and she is a proud member of Actor’s Equity.
