For Juan Darien: A Carnival Mass at the Vivian Beaumont, he was honored to receive a Tony Nomination for Scenery; as well as two Drama Desk Nominations for Scenery and Costumes. Current NY work includes Five Course Love at the Minetta Lane. Regionally, A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Long Wharf in Connecticut, Measure for Measure at the Denver Center, The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chao for Portland Stage and San Jose Rep, Vigil and Splitting Infinity for Geva Theatre, A Christmas Carol at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, and Flock which he wrote and directed for Dell’Arte in Blue Lake, CA. While working in film, television, opera, dance, musical theatre, as well as plays, over 350 of his set, costume, and puppet designs have been realized. He thrives in collaboration with significant writers, composers, directors, partner designers, and actors creating original work or making established shows seem new. G.W.
