In partnership with the late Fred Ebb, he has helped forge a fresh and adventurous path in the creation of new musicals — including such groundbreaking works as Cabaret, CHICAGO, ZORBA, CURTAINS and KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN. Kander & Ebb’s remarkable body of work has been honored with every accolade — from Tony, Grammy, Drama Desk and Olivier Awards to the Kennedy Center Honors for Lifetime Achievement. Their final collaboration, THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS, now receiving its world premiere at The Vineyard, represents yet another bold and compelling new direction for music theatre. This production reunites The Vineyard with Mr. Kander and his talented collaborators David Thompson and Susan Stroman, who all worked together for the first time on The Vineyard’s revival of Kander & Ebb’s FLORA, THE RED MENACE.
