He has collaborated with composers and writers including John Adams, Gavin Bryars, David Lang, Michael Gordon, Ben Katchor, Susan Sontag, Mac Wellman and Julia Wolfe. Teaching: Virginia Tech (current), Sarah Lawrence College, NYU and as part of The Eugene O’Neill Theater Festival. Mr. McGrath is the recipient of three OBIE awards for his work with Ridge Theater.
